Happy New Year!

Returning to this space and specifically to this particular blog page is a perfect example of procrastination which I can corelate to Anshi's birth and can be easily escaped with a usual statement which says motherhood is difficult!

But wait! Had I not enjoyed the motherhood to the fullest that, then I would have been actively writing and uploading images everywhere. It's upto you to conclude.

Anyway, so happy to be here and excited to pen down the experience of the first day of the year, 2025.

I have changed.. I don't know.. But I feel so... 

I will explain it later.. Leave!

One thing I have realized the most is that life is short. We never know how much time we have left. So, let’s not wait for what the future holds. Forgive quickly, love deeply, live fully, and stay connected. Leave the rest to karma.

With this deep realization in your heart, you will find yourself staying grounded and grateful to God every single day.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not.. But Before moving to Gurgaon I thought to visit Puri for Lord Jagannath Darshan and seek His Divine blessings.. But situation was different.. And before the year end, I thought it could never be possible.. And we planned for a short trip to Similipal(Lulung to be specific). Similipal is a tiger reserve and a national park in Mayurbhanj (near to My hometown Balasore). It is also UNESCO recognized bio diversity hotspot. Anyway we started on 31st around 8.30AM from Balasore and via Baripada we planned to enter Similipal. However all of a sudden after entering Baripada town,out of nowhere, we decided to go to Baripada Jagannath temple. ( which I never went before) 

Magic! Simply magic it feels.. 

I could not explain.. How it felt to me.. 

My heart was full. I COULD SEE HIM. I COULD MEET HIM.. they say unless and until Lord Jagannath want you to meet, you can't meet Him.. I have believed that to True.. Until I realized it by myself.. I almost cried.. My heart was full.. I had my complete family with me.. I had nothing much to wish for..♥️

Baripada Jagannath Temple referred to as the second Shree Jagannath Temple of Odisha.. Which was built in the 15th century by the Bhanja dynasty rulers.   

I had also started reading  "Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead" (gifted by one of my Close friend before I left Bombay) a month ago and was elated by the fact that, I was somehow getting reconnected with His Divine Power and Blessings.

So I can not deny the fact that, all the arrangements of meeting Him was actually planned by HIM only.

As they Say Lord Jagannath is the Lord of Universe (The name Jagannath comes from the Sanskrit words "Jagat" which means "Universe" and "Nath" which means "Lord") and who comes out of His Temple to meet his devotees once in a Year.And I truly feel, may be this was one of His plans. O!O

Far from the chaos of the City life.. deep inside the forest.. Where you could breathe fresh air.. With AQI below 100.. Staying in a no network zone.. Spending time with Family.. Clicking group photos.. having tea near the Bonfire and playing 80s Bollywood .. feeling mist in the air.. Anshi playing with bunnies and running after ducklings.. 

This was something I could say a "dream coming true" moment.

I am extremely grateful for the God's blessing.

Monday Blues Vs New mom

 Has anyone else felt the same?!

Like at the same moment... I need to write the blog... As I have not updated since long.

Also I need to plan a new photography for my toddler.. Wait.. What's the time.. Okay 1 hour to go for next meeting. I need 45mins max.. Any new pins for kids nook?! Where is this Pinterest? Nope all old pins.

Checking insta for any new stories came..

Oh its almost 2 hours baby has slept. She may wake up now. Have to finish everything before that. Wait. Where is the food routine I prepared for her... What she will have for dinner today. She dint like suji halwa yesterday. What shall I try today? Egg may be. Or banana pancake. But evening time can't give banana to her.

Oh I had to order shorts for Amit. Wait what's his waist size these days...?!

What happened to my order details in Amazon?!

What!!! 2254 new cases reported!!!! This Corona yaar!!

Why the laptop gets locked in every 2mins...ufff!! 

And why I look shabby. 

Haven't done brows since a month may be.. But how does it matter... It matters.. Because all I want is to give a new post in gram.. And no filter can hide this. 

Oops 40 more mins. Did the baby wake up...???!! 

During the call, 

Once my call is over.. At 8, I will speak to mom, mother in law. Chachi and Bhaiya. What if anyone got cold or something... No no. That won't happen. I spoke to them two days back. Everything was good there! Why these Dev people take so much to explain..this is stand up call guys.. Finish it fast! Wait what! I totally forgot to click the pic of my plant blooming with its first flower! Like seriously! Crap. Its night also. I hv to take a pic of it. No matter what!

Patter of rain...!!!

Patter of rain...!!! 

One fine summer morning, a gust of cool breeze , early in the morning, touches your soul and wakes you up. Pearl drops of rain running through the green leaves making a mesmerizing patter of rain. The positive vive of beautiful sunbirds tweet, the  happiness to watch them joyfully playing among branches . The Calmness and peace of nature probably remind me the ambiance of Matrimandir.  Its imposible to not fall in love with the irresistable beauty of Nature.
The tiny little birds takes me back to the beautiful memory lane of our then balcony garden at  Hyderabad, the city of pearls. Those small packets of happiness in the form of smile, those video recording, making colorful swing  or bird hammocks for them to planting flowers to there choice , giving them food and so on.....

And the  Petrichor (earthy scent)  after long heartless summer when the rain touches the thirsty lips of mother earth.and the fragnance becomes more divine when it mixes with the redolence of Star jasmine from the wild.

The innumerous happiness in the face of farmers  in form of Hope, the early form of assurance of mother nature in the form of drops of rain for next crop. May be the waiting is over for the Jacobin cuckoo
 who is waiting for rains to quench its thirst.

We the urban demons living in an imaginary world and running behind the mirage of happiness and artificial peace, searching the formula of happiness in between the pages of book of an anonymous author.We are in path of destruction with slaughter of countless creatures and in process of digging our own grave with florescent colors.

Hope this patter of rain should exist for ever and let the happiness and positivity spread across. The sunrise should come in the form of wisdom in mankind . Once again mother earth should blossom with kindness peace and harmony.

A Rainy Evening!

Cracking noise of the thunderstorm, silver  lightning on gigantic dark cloud followed by heavy rain, the croak of frog from the wild and the birds chirp from the trees around giving a  terrified feeling in one end . At the same time  sound of Temple bell of Arati and the beautiful aroma of 'Jhuna' gives a positive vibe, it taking me to the flash back of my child hood..

Probably this pandemic gave the one last  chance to feel the beauty of village , drive through the memory and recreate.

Adios Hyderabad

From the first day check in to last day good bye,
An early morning arrive to a late night fly!

The very first few new things
And a million memories,

Zillion moments.. And those
Beautiful anniversaries!

Captured the happiness
In the Colors of Holi,

and celebrated life,
With the lights of Diwali!

Driving the roads with full of butterflies with the  destination unknown,

When these ametures turned a house into home with loads of elation!

Could never count the memories we made,
And the distance we covered!

One thing I am sure of, would surely be lost if you wouldn't be there to walk hand in hand!

When I look into the flash back,
I am into the same pain,

As I felt 3 years back,
when I caught my bus and
Left mumbai, my second home!

So surprised I am.. When this city became  so close to my heart and
I inhaled the city's love!

Am I going to home or leaving the same!

I closed my eyes to recall, where did I start
And all I can remember is,
A lifetime promise and a passionate kiss!

And in the blink of an eye, gone are those first 3 years of marital bliss!

Hyderabad you have made the bond between us stronger than before!

And helped understand each other better!

Thanks for the good times and happy for the hard times!❤️❤️❤️

The church

When I was a kid , I used to think Churches are the ones meant for distributing chocolates, cakes and sweets.

And my friends who adopted Christianity, used to get colorful notebooks, greeting cards (which were never found in local stores) and small small gifts from different countries!

As a kid, we used to enjoy the cakes brought by our friends on the occasion of new year and Christmas!

As I Grow up, I used to visit church with my friends..during Christmas or some or other time when it's decorated  with colors and lights. 12th was the time, we visited for photoshoot there and I still have the hard copies of those photographs !

By the time I moved Bombay, I had an opportunity to explore the beautiful churches over there. I almost visited 10+ different old churches.. Attended the mass with my friend merlyn  in those Sunday mornings and it was such a beautiful memory I have ever preserved!

Till date, I have a collection of photographs of visiting 30 different churches all over India, starting from kerala, tamilnadu, bombay, Odisha, goa, pondicherry and others.

Here at Hyderabad, when ever I get a chance to visit a church, I never miss the opportunity and I love visiting there  on  a Sunday!

Winter : my warmest of memories!

When the rest of the world is turning fog 

out of boiling water with polar vertex challenge, 

I am amused by the 

shivering cold winter breeze, 

that my city is experiencing 

after decades or so. 

My whatsapp status kept changing from "is this already winter in Hyderabad" to  

"this is exactly what I meant, when I say I love winter", referring to the drop of lowest temperature from 18°C to 9°C or so. 

To be honest, I love winter❤️❤️.. 

Like I truly Do!

It's so much engraved in my soul... 

Like.. I became equally happy and nostalgic every morning..

 Every evening and every moment 

I feel winter has arrived. 

Like.. Being a January baby and 

being from a city I was born and brought up having all the extreme cold and cyclonic waves all the time, 

you just can't stop enjoying rain and winter. 

In addition to that, the weather over there is mostly affected by the low pressure and 

also the sudden rain because of the missile testing at ITR, Balasore,

 will surely end up addicting you with the winter! 

The childhood was beautiful 

And those days were magical.

 Like, I remember each and everything starting from waking up early to going to bed early.. 

Riding a cycle and going to tuitions and 

college with friends and it was loving.. 

The days were so beautiful and I could literally  see the yellow flowers [ a very similar type of sunflower, but little small in size]

 blooming all the way... 

The colourful jacket that we were wearing...

The jokes we cracked.. 

And the classes we missed..

 The birthdays we planned..

 And the moments we cherished..!!

 Those are all memory now... 

And they are the warmest of memories 

I will ever have!

So whenever they say winter is cold, 

 It's never cold.

It is cold for them who does not have warm memories! ❤️❤️❤️

The 10th Jan!

If there is something in this world,  we should truly believe. That is "Forgive and Forget"
Years back, 9th Jan was one such day, that I would never wanted to recall..possibly one of the worst nightmares I had.
But believe me, if you have gone through the lines.. "A smooth sea has never made a skilled sailor" that's so true!
If you have never faced difficulties, you will never unfold the mystery of happiness.

The morning comes with a surprise and may be not all mornings are good enough to start! But it's you and always you, that have to choose!

Will you allow yourself to fall apart? Or rather you will close your eyes, take a deep breath and decide to stand on.. Stand tall with all your beliefs.

There will be times, that will try to  break your trust, shatter your dream and demolish your life, but believe me dear... Life is always beautiful.
Just hold on... Never trust a negative vibe..and stay away from the negetivity. Keep breathing and the Storm will pass by.. And you will always have a brighter sunshine.

And if this does not happen, then it's not the end, forgive yourself.. Forgive the lie.. Forgive the universe and write your own book.. And start living the best day of yours!

I just wanted to say, always there will be people who would try to ruin your life by the ill mentality and the negative vibes they carry, but never let them win!
I had faced one such day on 9th Jan and it might took few hours to recover... But yeah! I can proudly say that... I won!
It's important what you opt for!

The Pictionary game!

It was a beautiful Sunday to wake up having plans for the day! It's kinda exciting.. Isn't it?! Yeah!
Okay. So the Sunday was Ganesh Visarjan day..and Lord Ganesh idol was being worshiped from the Chaturthi day in my society and something or other they plan during evening!
But we people after coming from office get tired or so.. And somehow could never participate in all those.. Now it's Sunday and few games were already planned from morning till 2O'clock.
So the excitement was already there!
[also on Saturday, there was a rangoli competition and we did quite well.. We as in Me and my better half. As that was a family event..i enjoyed it.. And I will be writing a separate blog for that.. Or may be separate genre I can create..as I am getting addicted to Rangoli so much these days.. Anyway]

So we became ready early in the morning before the priest comes and we went down for Aarti and all the other rituals!
You know what.. It's always great being a part of the spiritual journey and when you have friends and family together, it's such a heavenly feeling.

Well once Puja got over, (if you are following amigyan in youtube, you can check the video of our Ganesh Nimarjan day things of our society) as planned few games were started.
And the blog is about the pictionary game we played. In this game, each family were have to be of an individual team where one of the family member will draw an image on the whiteboard and the other family member has to guess .The quicker the correct answer is, the higher the score!


So the couple who started this game..could guess the respective word in about 10 secs Nd it was a quite good start.. And few others in 30 secs too.. And then comes a couple solving the same in 6 secs and it was such a wow moment!
When our turn came.. My husband has to draw and I choose to guess.. (because ofcourse he is a painter)

He saw the chit.. Started to draw.. A Sun first.. And some elliptical lines around it.. And by the moment he draws the second elliptical line.. "SOLAR SYSTEM" I landed.. And "Bang"!
That's correct and imagine the time taken...
It was just 3 seconds..!!! Whatttt!! Like yeah.. Is it so... Damn!

We did a high five and the crowd clapped.. And no doubt no one else could crack the 3 seconds time limit in the entire game!

So..this blog is definitely not about how quickly we solve the question.. Might be the question was little easier.. Might be the brain functioned faster than usual... Or else we might have taken another 10/15 seconds to solve...

Well..what might be the reason is..! I felt like the bonding or the synchronization between the minds are really getting stronger day by day!
Like it's not just that day..i had realized the same.. Also before I could say Yes or No to a particular situation.. It's like..we can read each other's minds and how blessed we are having each other!

Imagine having someone by your side.. who can make you laugh..who can sing to make you fall asleep.. Who can tell stories (although not so good at this) and someone who can read you like a book and so much in sync! When you get someone like him, never let them Go!
He is your soulmate who will redefine love and care and affection in every possible way he can!

Happy to have him by my side.

Art of any form, excites me! Like truly it does.. And always!

Growing up with my brother Saswat, who has a great taste in painting (and he does quite well), clicking stuffs.. Clicking human emotions and writing poems.. To marrying someone who has the same taste in arts is just happenstance!

Observing and learning how to click..to what to click.. Slowly I understand.. How photography is tough.. Like.. Truly..how much patience you need to have to capture stuffs like.. a butterfly or a bird.. And equally how much skill you need to capture a human emotion.. Like.. Certain things happen for once.. They won't be repeated.. May be once in a lifetime..or so..!!
